23rd Annual Tanglewood Festival of Lights in Clemmons

  • Evenings through January 1, 2015

Come out and experience the Southeast’s largest holiday drive-thru light show, featuring over a million LED lights. From snowflakes drifting through treetops to reindeer that bound over the roadways, this holiday extravaganza offers something for everyone. Paired with the drive-thru experience, you can meet Santa, taste some hot apple cider and cocoa, and browse the craft fair that offers locally produced goodies for the holidays.

UNCSA Presents The Nutcracker

The University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) presents The Nutcracker for its 49th year. And, what a treat it is to see this beautiful rendition of Tchaikovsky’s ballet on the stage of the historic Stevens Center.

“Snow” Christmas Concert is a delightful mix of modern Christmas selections and traditional carols, brought to you by a talented group of volunteers that simply enjoy sharing their talents with the community. This event is heavily attended, so plan to arrive early. 31st Annual Lewisville Christmas Parade

  • December 14, 2014, at 3pm

Located in the heart of the Triad, and featuring the feel of small town America, the Lewisville Christmas Parade offers the best of holiday traditions. As one of the largest parades in the Triad, the event features bands, candy, drill teams, and more. The entire community comes together to kick-off the Christmas celebration.

Carols by Candlelight at the Historic Bethabara Park’s Gemeinhaus

  • December 14, 2014 at 4:00 and 5:00pm

Experience German Christmas traditions through food, music, and crafts, with the highlight being this special candlelight concert featuring selections from the Snow concert. While you are there, try some traditional Moravian cookies, hot wassail, and an old-time feel to the wonders of Christmas.

Celebrate Christmas as Korner’s Folly a Victorian Christmas in Kernersville

If you have not visited this historic and very unique home in Kernersville, now is your chance to see if in all its decorated holiday beauty! Even if you have explored the various and varied rooms of Korners Folly, this year you won’t want to miss the Dickens themed Christmas tour.

Experience the lighting of thousands of twinkle lights and free amusement features, including a live nativity, train and carousel rides, face painting, and more. Hayrides are also available for a nominal fee.

Piedmont Winterfest in Greensboro

  • Daily through January 31, 2015

Located in the heart of downtown Greensboro, a winter wonderland for the entire family, featuring outdoor ice skating, slides, and a snow play box.   A great place to spend the day with some cold-weather traditions.
