Small Batch Beer Co. Opens in Old Kopper Kettle Building

The former Kopper Kettle diner/restaurant on 5th Street in downtown Winston-Salem is getting a makeover.

PG13, a commercial real-estate holding company, recently bought the nearly 7,000-square-foot building at the corner of Fifth and Cherry streets.

Old Kopper Kettle building to be converted, says the Winston-Salem Journal

In the fall of 2013, the historic Kopper Kettle building reopened its doors as Small Batch Beer Co. , a micro-brewery and bar that creates its own beers around seasonal and local ingredients. So far they have been very successful and are working to add food to their offering as well. Small Batch Beer Co. has kept the old Kopper Kettle sign up as a nod to the history of the building.
